Show Arts institute workshop in Park City Watercolorist Ann Day will teach a workshop in Park City from June 6 to 10, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, as part of the Kimball Art Center's Summer Arts Institute. . The workshop will include demonstrations by the instructor, ins-tructor, painting and sketching sketch-ing opportunities, discussion of techniques, materials and subject matter for inexperienced inexper-ienced and experienced watercolorists. Daily critiques crit-iques will be given for all workshop students, plus a final individual critique at the conclusion of the workshop. Students have the option of taking the watercolor workshop for college credit through the University of Utah's Division of Continuing Con-tinuing Education. The workshop fee for two credit v hours is $145, and $125 for non-credit. Due to small class size, early registration is recommended. Day received her BA. from Massachusetts Mount Holyoke College. She has also had painting instruction from John Pike, Harry Ballinger, Paul Sample and Ed Maryon. She was curator of Educational Services, Utah Museum of Fine Art, from 1976 to 1980 and director of Education, Waterloo Recreation and Arts Center, Waterloo, Iowa, from 1967 to 1976.
