Show 4. 1 Shake away the stuffing Are you feeling a little bit like an overstuffed turkey? Perhaps it's time to push your chair away from the table and dance off a few calories. Thanksgiving weekend is the traditional kickoff of the tourist season in Park City and the local clubs are ready to welcome the visitors with a variety of entertainment. Adolph's Bob Weisenfeld and his guitar will continue to add a classical touch to dinners at Adolph's restaurant on Saturday night. Alamo The Alamo is shifting into holiday gear with live entertainment enter-tainment seven nights a week. Cindy Farr's sizzling vocals will resound on Main Street through Sunday from 8:30 p.m. to closing. On Monday Mon-day and Tuesday Strictly Smoking will return to the Alamo stage. Cowboy Jack Quist's country rock band is continuing its engagement at the Cowboy Bar through Saturday. On Tuesday Sawmill Creek will pick up the slack and will fiddle through the next weekend. Down Under Throughout the holiday weekend Kat James will sing and strum for patrons of the popular club Down Under the Claimjumper. Black Pearl The Ritz band is returning to the Pearl this Wednesday through Saturday. According Accord-ing to manager Joe Soul, it's the hottest dance band he has ever heard and he expects ex-pects another full house. The Pearl by the way is closed Sunday through Tuesday. Sneakers Max Komine will be serenading the Sneakers crowd on Friday and Saturday Satur-day nights with folk ballads and Hawaiian songs. Grub Steak Kurt Davis will provide the musical accompaniment for dinners at the Grub Steak on Saturday. His music covers a variety of styles from folk to country. Rusty Nail The modern folk duo of Randy Heybourn and Charlie B. will be appearing at the Rusty Nail from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each of those evenings the Wolking Rovner jazz sextet will take over from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. There will be a $5 cover for the second show. |
