Show Basin Plan hearing set 1 The public has a chance next Wednesday to tell the Summit County Commission what they think about the Snyderville Basin Master Plan. The commission will hold a hearing on the plan March 13 at 6 p.m. at the County Courthouse in Coalville. , The plan is the result of two years of discussion and work and the subject of half a dozen hearings since last December before the County Planning Commission. The plan includes guidelines for building development that fall into two categories. It lists Absolute Policies (elements required re-quired or prohibited in a project) and Relative Policies (those encouraged or discouraged. ) Under Un-der a point system, a developer can lose points or gain them for his handling of Relative Policies. With, enough positive points, a development can gain an increase in density. Copies of the Basin Master Plan are available at the county planner's office in Coalville, the Marsac Building or in the Park City Library. |
