Show Chief pleads guilty Former Coalville Police Chief Daniel Soelberg pleaded guilty in 3rd District Court Monday to a felony count of attempted sexual abuse of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Soelberg was scheduled to be sentenced in Judge J. Dennis Frederick's court Dec. 16 in Coalville. The chief resigned his post Oct. 31 during an investigation by Summit County Sheriff Fred Eley. The case involved two minor girls, x Eley said. Summit County Attorney Robert Adkins said the sexual abuse I charge involved one adolescent girl. The charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor involved the other girl, Adkins said. Eley said incidents leading to the charges came to his attention through the Park City Prevention Center. His department began its investigation in-vestigation into the allegations Oct. 25.
