Show Utah Parks Open for Spring Recreating Most of Utah' State parks and recreation areas are now open for early campers, picnickners and boating enthusiasts. The following follow-ing State parks are traditionally opened for public use by the Easter weekend: Snow Canyon, St. George; Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Kanab; Goblin Valley, Hanksville; Yuba Lake, Nephi; Utah Lake, Provo; Willard Bay, North Ogden; Saltiar Beach and Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake; Escalante Petrifield Forest, Esca-lante; Esca-lante; Kodachrome Basin, Can-nonville; Can-nonville; Newspaper Rock, Moab; Green River State Park, Green River; Huntington Lake, Huntington, Hunting-ton, Palisade Lake, Manti. Utah boaters are reminded that their 1977 registrations are valid through March 31, 1978. Waters free of ice for the early season include: Utah Lake, Willard Bay, Yuba Lake, Hyrura Lale, Huntington Lake, Great Salt Lake, Flaming George Reservoir, and Lake Powell. Ice still remains on East Canyon Lake, Rockport Lake, Deer Creek Lake, Starvation Lake. Steinaker Lake, Scofield Lake, and Strawberry Lake. |
