Marsha, a native of Calgary Alberta,.' is married to Englishman English-man Don Symonds, a mining engineer employed in Salt Lake City, and has two sons, Cameron, 5, and Adam, almost 3. It was Don's interest and speciality in coal processing that brought them to Utah from Calgary, and after a year in Salt Lake City, the Symonds discovered Park City, moved here last October and intend to make it a permanent home. Horsewoman, avid skier and antique lover Marsha has a background as an elementary teacher, having taught for two years in Nottingham, England while Don finished his graduate work, and for 4 more years upon their return to Calgary, so she certainly has the organizational skills and patience she will need in working at the Chamber. Being new in town Marsha is busy now in her first few weeks on the job getting to know Park City and its people, so if you're walking by the Chamber office, stop in, introduce yourself and meet our charming new addition. Marsha Symonds, with her Canadian accent flavored with a British touch from having lived in England for two years, gives the office an international touch and a much needed helping hand. Marsha began work in the first of March and is spending about a day a week in the office for the time being. In May when Chamber Director Amanda Peterson Peter-son goes on a two and a half-month leave, assistant Shirley Shir-ley Smith will step into Amanda's job and Marsha will become a full time part of the office.
