' o o - 'i 1 s ; -NOTICE- NOTICE OF SPECIAL ASSUMPTION ELECTION THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF PARK CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT SUMMIT COUNTY, UTAH PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election will be held in Park City School District, Summit County, State of Utah on the 1st day of May 1979, at which election there shall be submitted to 4he qualified, registered voters residing within said district, the, following question, to-wit: Shall the Board of Education Educa-tion of Park City School District, Summit County. State of Utah, be authorized to assume a portion of the outstanding bonded indebtedness indebt-edness of the Board of Education of South Summit School District, Summit County, Utah, in the amount of $192,390, and maturing not later than August 1, 1991? If the above proposition is approved, the Board of Education will have assumed an obligation to pay a proportionate share of 23.32 of the principal and interest due on the outstanding outstand-ing bonded indebtedness of the Board of Education of South Summit School District in the years and amounts as follows: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, holi-days, and except during the ten-day period immediately preceding the bond election, any person who on the day of the election will be a qualified elector and will register such person as provided by law. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the registration agents to make available at each of the above described polling places a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such polling place. Absent-voter ballots may be obtained by any person otherwise eligible to vote at the special bond election but who, on the day of the election, expects to be temporarily absent from Summit County or disabled, by making application, within with-in thirty (30) days next preceding the election, either eith-er in person at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Education at 1750 East Hwy 248 in Park City, Utah, or by mail at P.O. Box 859, Park City. Utah 84060. Notice is further given that on May 1, 1979, that being a day not later than ten days after said election, the Board of Education will meet at its regular meeting place in Park City at 9:00 o'clock pm and canvass the returns and declare the results of said election. Electors are advised to vote at the polling place for the consolidated election district in which they reside. The election officials to serve at ( said polling places shall be those otherwise appointed under "the provisions of general law to conduct the special assumption election in said district on said date. The polling places within said district are as follows: Consolidated Voting District Dis-trict No. 1 , Regular Voting Districts Park City No. 1 and 2 - Park City Public Library, 524 Main Street; Judges are Barbara Price, Bea Kummer and Jane Street; with Jane Kimball as Alternate. Consolidated Voting District Dis-trict No. 2, Regular Voting N Districts Park City No, 3 -Chateau Apres Lodge, 1299 Norfolk Avenue; Judges are Mary Eley, Laprele Hamilton and Mae Yates, with Louise Snow as Alternate. Consolidated Voting District Dis-trict No. 3, Regular Voting , District Park City . No. 4 First Security Bank, 1514 Park Avenue; Judges are Elizabeth Hannay, Pat Epp-v. Epp-v. Jew and Marilyn Roberts with Billie Coleman as Alternate. The voting at such election shall be by ballot, which ballots will be furnished by the Clerk of the Board of Education of Park City School District to the judges of the election, to be by them furnished to the qualified voters. The polls at each polling place shall be opened at the hour of 7:00 o'clock am and will be kept open until and will be closed at the hour of 8:00 o'clock pm. There is to be not special registration of voters for such election and the offical register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk of Summit County will register at his office durjng regular office" hours, except |
