Show Park Ruggers in Action this Week End Park City Rugby Club swings back into action over the Labor Day weekend, battling the rugged Islanders of Salt Lake Friday evening and the power-v ful side from BYU on Labor Day afternoon. Park City brings a 5-5 record into these contests, hoping to improve their record before the big Park City Rugby Challenge Cup on the following weekend. Some of the finest Rugby teams in the west will be in Park City September 11 and 12 to battle for the coveted Park City Cup. The tourney will feature Rugby games Friday night and all day Saturday. An-added plus in the festivities festiv-ities will be the Rugby Luau after the games on Friday night. South Seas dancing and music, roast pig and all the trimmings you can eat, and the centuries-old centuries-old fire and sword ceremony are all part of this event down at the ballpark Friday at 9p.m. Co-hosts will be the Park Ruggers Rug-gers and the Islanders. But don't forget the games this weekend. The home team will take the field in a blaze of burgandy and black and gold! At long last the uniforms are here! The Park City Rugby Football Club takes this opportunity to sincerely thank Park City Resort Re-sort Company for the generous support it took to make the game -dress a reality. Rag-tag the Park Ruggers are no more. Friday's Game: Park City vs S. L. C. Islanders, 6:30 at Park High Field. Monday's Labor Day Feature: Park City vs BYU; 3:00 p.m. at Park High Field. Also, Good Luck to Wayne Carlson's Park High gridders in their season's opener.
