Show dividuals below the age of 16 are not permitted to take wildlife wild-life at night. 5. Equipment utilized in night hunting must meet the following specifications: a. Firearms shall be limited limit-ed to centerfire rifles having a maximum bore diameter of .257 and shall be equipped with a telescopic sight of at least 6 power. b. Spotlights must be 12 volt and capable of meeting a 100 watt rating. c. Hunters authorized to take wildlife at night must display a decal to be furnished furnish-ed by the Division of Wildlife Wild-life Resources in the lower left hand corner of the back window of the vehicle being used for hunting. 6. Hunting from or along roadways is prohibited. Shooting Shoot-ing from a vehicle, from or across a roadway, or possession posses-sion of a loaded firearm in a vehicle are also prohibited. 7. Hunting within one mile of an occupied dwelling is prohibited. pro-hibited. Hunting within one half mile of corralled or flocked livestock is prohibited. 8. Violations of any of the above will result in the immediate im-mediate revocation of any privileges granted through the processes of certificates or written authorization, and will be considered a misdeamor and prosecuted as such. B. Landowners may take depredating, de-predating, unprotected terrestrial ter-restrial wildlife with the aid and use of an artificial light at any time on private lands under their control. Provided, however, how-ever, said landowners may not have in their possession a loaded load-ed firearm in their vehicle, and they may not hunt or shoot from or across any established establish-ed primary or secondary roadway road-way or shoot from a vehicle. C. It shall be unlawful for any individual to deliberately cast the rays of any artificial light on any form of protected wildlife wild-life while having in their immediate im-mediate possession the means to take said wildlife. Lisl Hunting Regulations PROPOSED RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR NIGHT HUNTING: It shall be unlawful for any person to take any form of terrestrial or avian wildlife with the aid of any artificial light except as provided below: be-low: A. Duly authorized hunters may take coyotes, bobcats, fox, skunks, and jackrabbits according accord-ing to the following conditions: 1. All such hunters must possess pos-sess a special certificate of registration for night hunting. Said certificates will be available avail-able only at Division of Wildlife Wild-life Resources offices at a cost of $15.00. 2. Additionally, all such hunters hunt-ers must notify the county sheriff of the dates and area of the county in which they plan to hunt. 3. Sport hunting at night is prohibited during the period August 1 November 15. 4. Individuals between the ages of 16 and 21 years may hunt the above forms of wildlife at night provided they are accompanied accom-panied by and hunt under the supervision of an adult. In- |
