Show Park Cily Plays Prominent Arl Convention Role Park City played a prominent role in the state convention of the National League of American Amer-ican Pen Women, Pen, Pencil and Brush, when Phyllis Park of Empire Avenue was convention conven-tion chairman of this annual event which was held May 20 in Salt Lake City. Park City was listed as a favorite of many of these talented talent-ed ladies. They come to picturesque pic-turesque Park City not only to sketch and paint, but to ski, to shop and to eat. The program was presented by two near-neighbors from Lamb's Canyon, Burtell and Wilma Bunker, National Celebrity Cele-brity Artists. It was a combination com-bination of piano music and colored slides entitled "Beautiful "Beau-tiful Wonderful World." All of the pictures were taken by the Bunkers and were exclusively Utah with many recognizable as having been taken in local canyons near Park City. |
