Show Wafers Closed to Fishermen Fishing will not be permitted on a number of Utah waters during dur-ing 1972 to facilitate fish management man-agement programs of the Division Div-ision of Wildlife Resources. Several waters recently treated to remove rough fish will remain closed this year. Reopening in 1073 as cutthroat trout fisheries are: Round Willow Wil-low Bottom, Garfield County; Fish Creek Reservoir, Wayne County; and Crystal, Washington Washing-ton and Tail Lakes, Summit County. Otter Creek Reservoir in Piute County was restocked with rainbow trout and remains closed to fishing until 1973. Daggett Lake in Daggett County was stocked with golden trout and will open to fishing when the trout are large enough for the creel. All waters managed by the Division of Wildlife Resources for propagation, spawning and fish rearing purposes are closed clos-ed to fishing. In this category are Sheep Creek Lake and the Feeder Canal above Sheep Creek Lake in Daggett County. Fisheries research projects in Cache County have required closing part of one stream. Temple Fork from its source downstream to the culvert located loc-ated about 2.5 miles upstream from Highway 89 is closed to fishing as posted. Waterfowl nesting grounds and state waterfowl management manage-ment areas are closed to fishing. |
