Show national Patrol Holds Annual Ski Convention The Intermountain Division of the National Ski Patrol held its annual 3 day convention in Bur-ley, Bur-ley, Idaho. In the general business meetings meet-ings held Saturday the Park City Ski Patrol was presented a unit citation for being the outstanding out-standing patrol in the region, For their workinsavinglives on the region slopes, the division div-ision presented awards of appreciation ap-preciation to the following members: Mel Fletcher, Larry Devenport and John Armstrong, Park City; Paul Draper, Uen Luth and Don Lucas, Brighton; Marlin Hoth, Beaver Mt.; and a merit award to the Pomarell Ski Patrol for avalanche rescues. res-cues. The patrol leaders and advisors ad-visors present at the meetings represented some 935 ski patrolmen pat-rolmen in the Intermountain Division. Seventeen National Patrol numbers were awarded and Park City's Bill Plummer, Bill Dezell and Gary Reed were among the special group. Jim Williams of Brighton is the new division director and Park City patrolmen Duane Karren and Tom Hartman were appointed to positions of leadership. lead-ership.
