Show Honor Students Listed at PCHS; Ricks College Presents Assembly Belt and a girl with a Brown Belt, entertained and the high school audience in a delightful manner. The variety in the performance perform-ance was well selected; plenty of boys for the girls, and plenty of girls for the boys. The entertainment enter-tainment was well presented and enjoyed by the students. Reporter, Dorothy McComb -PCHS- Park High's Junior Varsity basketball players put on a good showing against St. Joseph at Ogden to upset the Jays by a score of 51-45. Although the young Miners were at a disadvantage as to height, they did a great job of keeping up with their opponents. Don Evans helped the Miners a great deal with his rebounding rebound-ing efforts while Burt Murnin was a tremendous help to the Miners with his scoring ability. He chalked up a total of 24 points for the Miners. Bill Lindsay also helped with the scoring by adding 14 points to the total. The Miners big center, Brian Andrus, was in foul trouble . and was removed for almost half the game. Melvin Welch, 5 ft. 7 inches, was then placed in the center spot. He was up against St. Joe's 6' 5 center. But despite this, he contributed much to the outcome of the game. Reporter, Jeanne Marcellin --PCHS- "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?" These lines and other well-known well-known lines from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet were heard last week in the PCHS auditorium auditor-ium when Miss Sharon Ridd's English classes presented parts from plays. Each row in the classroom was assigned to present part of a play. Three rows presented the recently studied Romeo and Juliet. Mike Farley and Denise Smith presented the final death scene which was really great. Two other plays were presented, pre-sented, The Skin of Our Teeth, by Thornton Wilder, andHame--let and Omlet.
