Those selected to go to Logan were the first place winners: Tammy Simister, Kamas group, Laurie Page and the Park City Pebble Pups 4-H club. The Extension Agents and 4-H congratulates those who cooperated and participated in this important activity. The teachers in the schools are to be complimented for their help. Over th' County Agent's Desk J. Reed Moore USU Extension Agent 4-H Poster Program A poster program has been conducted in Summit County for 4-H members. The purpose of the program is to give boys and girls an opportunity to express ex-press what 4-H is and does and that it is for all young people. Utah's quota for the contest is eight entfies; Summit County's quota is four entries for state competition. The program was worked through the schools with all ages participating. There was good response about 50 posters post-ers being drawn. The posters were handed in to the Extension Exten-sion Office to be judged. The judges picked the following: Coalville area: 1st place, Tammy Simister. Honorable mention: John Griffith and Carolyn Vernon and JoNene Judd. Mrs. Sargent's 4th grade full |
