Show Census Report Gives Details on fill Utilities The 1970 Census of Housing counted 2,883 housing units in Summit County, and 1,520 households had at least one television set (158 UHF-equip-ped), the Bureau of the Census, Cen-sus, U.S. Department of Commerce, Com-merce, announced today. The figures are from the first report re-port for Utah which presents detailed statistics on housing for each county. The report shows that in the county: There were 62 housing units with air conditioning (34 with room units and 28 with a central cen-tral system), 1,418 units with a clothes washing machine, 874 with a clothes dryer, and 363 with a dishwasher. The 1970 population was 5,879, with an average of 3.4 persons per housing unit. A total of 1,432 housing units were built before 1949, 196 during dur-ing the 1950's, 223 during 1960-64, 1960-64, and 294 within the five years preceding the April 1970 census. cen-sus.
