Old man winter's latest visit left a fresh official total of 31 inches on the ground. Residents were still digging out late Monday and happy smiles greeted patches of blue sky and even a friendly sun finally brought some melting. The heavy snowfall kept city street crews busy and over the weekend Park City Police investigated numerous mino? traffic accidents. No serious injuries were reported, but fenders and tempers sustained heavy losses. Liking the confinement provided by a warm building build-ing the Park Record Camera picked upashoveler in shirt sleeves. The snow mover who felt he was just doing his civic duty requested that his name not be used. Park City students also got a break. So heavy was the snow fall that school buses couldn't reach outlying areas. Students within walking distance of Marsac and Park High attended classes for half a day only on Monday. |
