Show Park Record Places High in Utoti Press Competition at Convention News honorable mention. Because of illness, these newspapers were not represent ed at the annual convention. With 51 Utah weekly newspapers news-papers vying for honors, the three publications owned and operated by McConaughy Publishing, Pub-lishing, Inc., placed well near the top in the seventy -fifth annual Utah Press Association convention contests. Competing in Class One, smaller newspapers, The Park Record won two firsts, a third and two honorable mentions. In Class Two, medium newspapers, news-papers, The Summit County Bee won a first place, a third and one honorable mention. As a result both The Record and The Bee placed high in General Excellence. The Morgan County News, competing in Class One, came up with four honorable mentions. men-tions. Mac's column, 'The Ants Eye View," was the big winner, taking tak-ing a first for The Record, a first for The Bee, and an honorable mention for The News.
