garbage and dead animals on the streets and alleys of ogden without my approval for the reason that this resolution ia in conflict with section 2 chapter 2 title 16 revised or dinan cei of ogden which section provides that the sanitary inspector under direction of the health commission shall employ all the necessary teams drivers and wagons to clean up the streets of the city as well as all other matter detrimental to the public health the facts are that the sanitary inspector ha already a team engaged and the payrolls of the last three months will show that the dead animagi and garbage have been promptly removed from the alleys and streets of the city by the sanitary inspector formerly the city paid for this team every day whether work was performed or not under the present sanitary inspector the team is only paid for work when actually in the cites service your honorable body was probably not aware of thas fact councilman powers stated that sanitary inspector powers was present and he asked him if there was such a team used on the streets alie sanitary inspector stated he had employed a team which was used when necessary in removing dead animals in hauling coal to the
