Considerable development work b&s be-n done on i the ground during the summer, and j Kit week they commence! hauling coal to Sallna. A germ road has been built to the place, and a tunnel has been run in one hundred arid thirty feet, during which work about one hundred tons of coal have 1-een taken out. j The coal lies in a fork and shows a i fine ledge of over four feet. There i are several excellent veins of coal in that p.irt of the canyon known ai Sawtooth. The coal 1s of the same quality that prevails la all the L'tah coal mea.-ures.
