Councilman Dana proposed last night at the council meeting that the president of the council appoint two councilrnon to Join the light committee commit-tee and the city attorney in an effort ef-fort to get a better light rate from the Utah Light & Railway conipauy. The motion was carried unanimously and the president appointed Council-men Council-men Peery and Browning to act in that capacity. Engineer Bostaph reported that the plans and specifications of tho proposed pro-posed Cold Water canyon conduit had been completed and that they were ready for the consideration of tho council. The engineer also presented tho proposition of Clark & Stowe to dig a development tunnel near the intake in-take of the Cold Water canyon water system for $5.50 per lineal foot, the council to have the right to stop the work at its option.
