It Is net likely the cato will be reheard. On December 26, E. G Farr, C. L. Driscoll and C. W. Weaver, three minors, wore arrested for disturbing the peace All of the boys had ben drinking and when they were arraigned ar-raigned for trial an effort was made by the city attorney to leurn from what source they had secured the Intoxicating In-toxicating liquor when they had imbibed. im-bibed. At this time they swore that the Intoxicants responsible for their condition when arrested hd been given giv-en them by a strancer on the street For their failure to tell the truth concerning the purchase of Intoxicants they were sentenced to serve thirty days In prison Yesterday the boys told the chief of police that they would tell where they had obtained their drinks. Their story lead to th3 arrest of Hello. Because of the former untruthfulness untruthful-ness of the boys the story which they told to the court today was not given full credence by the )'ry. hence the disagreement of the Jurors. oo |
