Followed ly several hundred curious persons, Joseph Wcndllng, charged with the murder of Alma Kellner, this after-buon after-buon was marched through the streets wah thw jury and the lilal judge iroui the court house to the scene of the alleged crime. So many persons I iylng to gain a view of him made the prisoner nervous, and he seemed relieved when bc got back In the court room. Although the crowd manifested no inclination to be unruly, police reserves re-serves were called to tho church, where the crowd rapidly increased iu size. Great Crowd Collected. It is almost a mile from tbe court house to the church. When the trip started Judge Gregory asked the people peo-ple not to follow. News spread that tho procession was coming, and several sev-eral blocks near the church were lined with persons eager to catch a view of the prisoner.
