Tho National Ladles' Tailors' association in convention conven-tion here has adopted a declaration of Independence from Parisian domination domina-tion aud has decreed that from now on, members of the organization are to stop pretending to follow tho pretty pret-ty Paris fashions, when as a matter of fact they are using their own ere a tlons. The tailors declare themselves Independent In-dependent or Paris, thus laying aside incouvenient and costly fictions that bave always gone with that pretense. "When the summer time comes on," he said, "we have been closiog up our stores and leaving word that we have gono to Paris. What for? Why, to make people think that we are getting get-ting over the creations that we put out In the fall.
