Show IN DISTRICT COURT la tho district court this morning Frank O'Neill and Earl V. Mitchell were arraigned on the charge of grand larceny and each pleaded not guilty. The trial for Mitchell was set for September 30, and O'Neill's case will be set for hearing at some futurt date. Ex parte matters attended to by the court were the granting of an order substituting the name of Lohn Pin-gree Pin-gree for Emil S. Itolapp as plaintiff In i he case of IUdapp vs. the Ogden & Northwestern Railway companv. Testimony of the plaintiff was heard In the case of R. C. Ncwson against Orson Hyde, a suit to foreclose fore-close on a mortgage for $3uo and costs. The order of foreclosure was made In the matter of the suit of the Ore-gon Ore-gon Short Line Railway company against Fletcher, on motion of the attorney at-torney for the defendant, the executor execu-tor of the estate of the defendant was substituted as defendant. It was stated stat-ed to the court that the defendant had died since the suit was instituted. |
