Show j CHILDREN'S AID SOCIETY. The Children's Aid society wiil hold tho first meeting of the vear on Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. C. H. Gosling. A large attendance is desired. de-sired. Mr. W. E. Traughber, city editor of the Salt Lake Tribune, with Mrs. Traughber, arrived last night In Og- den. to spend a vacation of a few f weeks. Mr. Traughr,cr Is taking a rc-bt that he has long needed, and "ex- pectus to spend most of his holiday in the canyon. Mrs. Gen. A. Dixou and children are paying a summer visit to her parents at Sioux Falls. S. D. Mrs. Dixon was accompanied by Mrs. C. A. Parker, of St. Paul, tho wife of the inspector of Internal revenue there. Dr. Dixon is in Vienna nt present studying at the medical clinic, but is expected homo in tho latter part of October. David Kccles and family returned yesterday afternoon from their extended ex-tended tour of Europe. Miss Marguerite Wattls has returned re-turned after a pleasant vacation spent in Oregon and California. Mrs. Isaac Blair and daughter. Bessie, Bes-sie, b it last evening for California, where they will remain for some time, Mrs. Blair hoping to recuperate from a recent illness Mrs. Ada Stone, who has been visiting visit-ing her mother, Mrs. Martha Reddish of Coalville, has returned to her home lu Ogden. Miss Clara Smith, daughter of President John Henry Smith of Salt Lake, has returned to her home after a visit for a few days in Ogden as the guest of Miss Minnb' ,P.rwn. Among the pleasant events planned during MIsh Smith's visit was a trip to Malan Heights, a party of 'young people spending a delightful dav . at the Heights em Monday. The Misses Alio and Nell Magulrc. formerly eif Ogden. spent Sunday with old frl'-nds lu re. The Missci'MaguIro were en route to their home In Butte after spending the summer In southern California. |
