Manager Paynes of the Dayucs-Beebe Music company, tried the fifteen receiver today, and they appeared satisfactory. Some of them were remarkably ex-celent. ex-celent. The "Hosaunah" anthem and the "Hallelujah" chorus from the choir were not merely impressive, they were majestic. A preat volume of song rolled forth from the machine that certainlv did the rholr Justice. The organ accomnaniment too was very fair in mat la nn Inmresslon. although It was feared It might not be heard.
