Show INJURED IN GALLATIN, TENN. Word has just been received in Ogden Og-den of the serious injury of Mrs. C l. A. Gerdlng, nn Ogden woman, in Gallatin, Galla-tin, Tenn , where for the past two wentoi she has been visiting with ri- atives. Mrs. Gerdlng was thrown from a buggy hi a runaway and received injuries which may prove fatal. The unfortunate woman left this city September 20, going to Nashville, Nash-ville, Tenn., and on October I was paying a visit to some obi friends In Gallatin She. with two friends, was driving along a road and stopped to permit the animal to drink, llei two friends alighted from the buggy, and the horse, becoming frightened, made a dash down the road. The lines had dropped to the 'ground and the lone, occupant of the vehicle was helpless. As the horse turned a corner in the village, Mrs. Gerdlng half leaped, half fell from the buggy. She was picked up ami conveyed to the office of a physician where it was ascertained that she was badly cut about the scalp, bruised about the eyo;j, her nose fractured and her right ankle broken. There were minor bruises. The latest reports of her condition are such as to give some hope of her recovery as she rallied after the dressing dress-ing of hervounds and has since been lesting easv.
