Murphy, leader of Tammany Hall, issued is-sued a statement last night fo'low-Ing fo'low-Ing the publication of various rumors as to what ml: lit be expected of the New York delegation to the Democratic Demo-cratic state convention, lie t-aid: "I should like to have l: understood distinctly tint the delegates to the Democratic state convention, from Manhattan and the Bronx, will go to Rochester unpledged ami in lavor of no paiticular candidate, nor will the delegates have a candidate of their own We believe the candidate for governor would be named by tho delegates from the Interior of tho state and whoever Is the choice whether it be Mayor Gnyiun- or somebody some-body else, will have the loyal support sup-port of this organization," |
