Show ME RESCUE CARS IN OPERATION PITTSBURG, Nov. 10 Incidental to tne equipping and sending out of the mine rescue cars for use In time of disaster, the United States bureau of mines today announced the rescue res-cue crews of the various care thus far in the field. S. S. Smith, chief engineer, with J. A Thomas, first aide, and T. W Blake, helmet man, left here for Chicago Chi-cago tonight to take charge of the car that goes to Wyoming. They will give demonstrations of roscue work In Illinois and Iowa. Hugh Wolfls. chief engineer; J. M. Anderson, helmet man. and A- A-Kiynn A-Kiynn will leave for Chicago Saturday Satur-day to take a car into Montana and Washington. D. E. Tolsted, whr w ill have charge of the car in- West Virginia and Tennessee, Ten-nessee, will arrive hero from Chicago Saturday, while Engineer A. O Hamilton, Ham-ilton, with a full equipment of rescue apparatus, left tonight to take charge of the new mine rescue station which has been established at McAlester, Okla. |
