Sept. 1 Greater New York has a population of 4,766,. SS3 under the thirteenth decennial census, according to figures Issued tonight by the director of tho census. This makes Nev York the second largest city In the world and as largo afc any two forcigu cities, excepting London. Since ICmiO the population of thj Metropolis has Increased by 1.
