Show sifpi Fire Fighters Are Being Paid Off and Fires Are Out Missoula, Sept. 2. In the past 21 hours a decided change has taken place in the forest fire situation, and today the department Is engaged recalling re-calling and discharging fire fighters. On the three forests the sura of $33,000 has been paid out to transient laborors for fire lighting. In addition to this, about JlO.OuO has been expended ex-pended in the purchase of material and provisions for the workers.
