Show CHILDREN DID WELL ARBOR DAY A report at the office of the board of education Indicate that the school children were thoroughly imbued with the importance of Arbor day, and that the spirit of planting, and cleaning home premises largely prevailed. Tho students of all the schools were given their choice as to whether they should plant trees, lawns, flowers, shrubs, and lnes, or devote a part of the day to cleaning the yards at home, but they were all urged to do something some-thing in line with the expressed ol-ject ol-ject of Arbor day. Superintendent Mills and the teachers teach-ers of the schools arc gratified over tho report sent in, and they express the thought that if all other people of the city did as well as the school children on Arbor day. much was accomplished. ac-complished.
