In addition to the civil service examinations to bo held here ou February 24 and 25, announcements an-nouncements have been made of the following for those dates: A woman is wanted for the position of library cataloguer in the National museum, at Washington, D. C. The salary sal-ary is $C5 a month and the age limit 18 years or over. Applicants must have had experience in general library work and they must also have had sufficient suf-ficient familiarity with languages to catalogue foreign publications. Today there are seeral acancies in the position of assistant bacteriologist bacteriolo-gist in the bureau of chemistry, department de-partment of agriculture, at salaries ranging from $1,200 to $1,800 a year. Two days will be required for the examination. ex-amination. Tho age limit will be 20 years or over. Numerous vacancies exist in the positions po-sitions of examiner and assistant examiner ex-aminer in the reclamation service. The position of examiner carries a salary sal-ary of $1,800 a year, and of assistant examiners tho salaries are $1.2U0 to $1,600. The age limit will be from 20 to 40 years of age. On March 17 an examination will be held here to securo ellglblc3 to fill ten vacancies in each of the positions of timber cruiser and practical miner under the chief of the field divisions of the general land office at $7 a day each. The age limit will be 20 years or over upon tho date of the examination. |
