Show TWO MORE OF THE SIX CROOKS ARE SLATED FOR TERMS IN THE PENITENTIARY. Could Have Been Charged With Grand Larceny, but Will Escape With a Less Severe Accusation. Folix Wever and Frsncis Josephs, alias "Slim," two more of the six crooks and prospective looters of the Japanese-American bank, were arraigned ar-raigned in the municipal court this morning on the charge of burglary In the third degree. The offense was tho entering of a Southern Pacific freight car while crossing the lake, and stealing therefrom rive pairs of bhos, twenty pairs of gloves and a quantity quan-tity of wine and candy, valued at a total of $35. The value of the property being over $20, it was possible for a coiu-plalut coiu-plalut to have been drawn charging grand larceuy for which the men could receive a ten-year sentence. As In the ca6 of the two arraigned Monday, Mon-day, Fitzgerald and Martin, the charge of third-degree burglary was made in consideration of the willingness of the men to plead guilty and thus save the state the expense of a trial upon the graver charge. Following the arraignment of the prisoners, they were taken in and stripped for Identification marks. Wever Is a Southerner, hailing from Texas, and is only 22 years of age. His companion its somewhat older and is a subject of Great Britain, although of Russian parentage.
