Show DISSOLUTION SUIT ( AGAINST HARRIMAN ROADS ' , Chicago. March 16. C. A. Severance, ' special assistant to tho attorney general, gen-eral, In charge of the governments dissolution suit against the Harriman combination of ' railroads, arrived In Chicago and will begin examining witnesses. wit-nesses. Among those subpoenaed are E. P. Poyd of the Wabash traffic department; depart-ment; F. n. Montgomery of tho International Inter-national Harvester company; A. C. Jennings, traffic manager of N. K. Fairbanks & Company, and C. O. Friable, Fria-ble, traffic manager of Armour & Company. Com-pany. The suit was started by the government gov-ernment In Utah January' -S, lOUS, and In it Edward H. Harriman. Jacob , Schiff. Otto H. Kahn, Jamc3 Still-' 1 man, H. S. Rogers and Henry C. Frlck are charged with conspiracy to restrain re-strain competition among western railroads over which Mr. Harriman and his. associates are said to have I gained control. |
