Arter carefully care-fully guarding for more than seven years the facts as to the government's expenditures Incident to the last illness ill-ness and burial of President McKln-ley, McKln-ley, the treasury officials yesterday made a statement covering the expenditure expen-diture under the appropriation or $43,000 for this purpose, made by Congress Con-gress on July 1, 1902. The physicians physic-ians were paid as follows: Dr. M. D. Mann, $10,000; Dr. H. Mynto, $G.000; Dr. C. McIJurney, ?5,-000; ?5,-000; Dr. Roswell Parks, $5,000; Dr. C. G. Stockton, $1,500; Dr. E. G. Jane-way, Jane-way, $1,500; Dr. II. G. Matzlnder, $750; Dr. W. W. Johnson and Dr. E. W. Lee and Dr. R. A. Gaylord, $500 eacn; Dr. W, I,. Wilson. $250; Dr. G. McK. Hall and Dr. E. C. Mann, $200 each. Three firms of undertakers divided $1,491.30 among them. Two nurses were paid $500 each; a third was paid $400 and another $200. |
