Lowe Co. are all developments of 1 the last few days which foretell a ! spring and summer of great real es-j es-j tate and building activity, j Tho Carlson purchase may bring j about the erection of a large structure on the property, which is 132 by 210 feet and ls a fine site for a terrace, j There is talk of the Utah National j bank building, with the removal of ! the federal court to the federal build-1 build-1 ing, being made an office building. I Among the new enterprises receiv-. receiv-. ing attention Is tho Ogdcn Vallev' Trout & Resort company's develop-, meuts In Ogden valley on the Barker place, half a mile ea6t of the creamery. This company is now well organized and has ample funds to complete plans for a largo fish hatchery. The company com-pany will call for bids, the first of next week, on tho construction of 100 ponds each CO feet by 9 feet and 2 to 3 feet deep, the ponds to be made of concrete. This will be close to a $10,000 cement job and will be but tho beginning of Improvements on the grounds, the surveys for which aro being made by County Surveyor Craven Cra-ven and assistants. This week 100,000 fry were planted In the ponds now on the grounds and 200.000 more fry aro to be placed therein within the next two weeks. The young fish are being fed on what ls known as Dutch cheese, or the curd of Bour milk.
