Salt Lake, March 26. Among the Interesting developments of tho Tintic district this week is another strike on the Bullock property and the promlso that this property will again bo making mak-ing 6hfpments to the Tlntlc smelter. Manager Benjamin B. Bulloclc declares that arrangements are now being made with the smelter for the treatment treat-ment of tho oro which was struck yesterday In tho drift off the 210-Ioot level of the property. The night shift Wednesday broke into the ore just before going off shltt and yesterday the drift was pushed through the Bullock vein which was encountered. The ore taken out Is declared de-clared to be a rich copper sulphide and of a shipping quality. The vein Is 2 feet thick and was struck in tho west drift, 103 feet from tho shait. This drift will also bo sent "on to catch the big railroad vein which Is 15 feet further away. In the. old workings this vein was about three feet wide, but was not as rich as the - Bullock vein. The catching of tho Bullock vein now opens up three veins in tho property. Tho first two encountered are two feet and one foot.wido. and contain good ore, which, after sorting, can be shipped. The Bullock property has as good facilities for shipping as" any in the district. The Salt Lake Koutc tracks come up to the oro bins, bo that there v ill be no trouble in getting the oro to the smelter. From the old workings work-ings In the property seven cars of ore were 'shipped and Manager Bullock declares that he Is confident that there is plenty of oro In the property. The Bullock property and work is being pushed In a manner that promises prom-ises some good development work there this summer. .. The encountering of the three veins of ore on the 210-foot level proves that the body is continuous to the surface, sur-face, and that is extends for a great distance through tho property, with systematic mining there Is an excellent excel-lent opportunity of tho mine being one of the producers or the district. At the Eureka. Lilly property, which is in the same district, a cave was encountered on the 300 foot level, and and also on the 200-foot level. The cave was first struck Wednesday night on the 300-foot level, at a place almost directly beneath the point on which it was encountered on the 200-foot 200-foot level. The cave as yet has not been lully explored as the two openings form a direct air passage that will not allow a light to remain long in the opening. This Is looked upon as a good indication indi-cation of ore in sight on this property, as it Is in tho line with the Kast Tin-tic Tin-tic Development, where the cave formation for-mation brought good ore, and the Mc-Klnley, Mc-Klnley, where a good cave, was also found. Superintendent W. M. Owen of the Eagle and Blue nell property has re celved instructions to put a torce ot men to work on the 1,400-ioot level and push the drift Into the King William Wil-liam property. , To reach thef'Klng William ground it will require about. 280 feet of work and will take about GO days. As soon as the ' objective point Is reached a raise will be made from the 1.900-foot level or the King William to the 1,400-root level.
