Heber Hancock of Weber academy, who won second place in the pole vault at the state high school meet of last year, vaulting to a height of 10 feet I Inches, was Riven last night's match by default, although only about 7 feet was the height record. Tho tournament was carried car-ried out, under the supervision of M. A. Cleary and T. F. Proshaw, both formerly of the national guards, and reflected much, credit upon both these gentlemen as well as those who participated par-ticipated In tho various contests.
