An officer on furlough, and when not engaged en-gaged in military duty, is supposed to wear civilian clothes or mufti. There is no hard and fast rule laid down by tho military authorities, but the unwritten law of good form, as uphold by tho officers themselves, makes it Imperative on all members! when attending private functions or otherwise engaged la non-military pursuits, to wear civilian clothes. |
