Show Hands of Clocks Move Ahead Today In Larger Cities NEW YORK, April 30. (Sunday) I Daylight saving began at J n. m today In more than 600 of the nation s largest larg-est cities, in about 200 smaller cities or rural communities and In every nook or corner of several states, notable not-able on the Atlantic seaboard. Railroads will not operate on standard stand-ard time, unless a bill now before congress which would give them permission per-mission to use daylight snlni,' timetables time-tables is passed. But banks and stock exchanges and business radiating out of New York and tho four of five I great cities along the coast will be on daylight saving time.
