Tho first danco of tho season opened Saturday night at tho canyon resort, and brought a huge crowd of young people who enjoyed the program of the Roovos new jazz orchestra. Tho dance hall this season will bo conducted under the direction of Mr. Reeves, who has announced that dancing will be on tho program every night. Lagoon also threw open Its gates yesterday morning, and throughout the afternoon and evening the resort was jammed with pleasuro seekers. Prcctically every, amusement, with the exception of tho swimming pool, was taken advantago of by the Sunday crowd. Outdoor swimming pools of tho Utah Plot Springs and tho Sanitarium woro thronged during yesterday and last night. Taking advantage of the doublo holiday, holi-day, hundreds of persons moved to Ogden canyon yesterday for tholr supper, sup-per, and last night saw them comfortably com-fortably installed In tholr cottage homes. o |
