Show PIONEER AIRWAY FROM SEATTLE TO SKAGWAY NEW YORK, May 22. An airplane pathfinding flight is soon to be undertaken under-taken to link up Alaska with Pacific coast states, E. N. Gott, an aircraft manufacturer, announced here today. Tho initial flight will be made over tho thousand miles of impassable territory between Seattle and Skagway, Alaska. If this is practicable, a short-cut course is to bo laid from Skagway along tho Yukon to St. Michaels and Nomo on tho northern coast of tho Arctic territory. The flight, It was stated, is to be sponsored by tho Aero club of tho northwest. Tho route of tho first thousand miles between Seattle Seat-tle and Skagway includes Victoria, Belllngham, Vancouver, Prince Rupert, Ketchikan, Wrangel, Petersburg and Juneau. |
