Katayama Is alleged to have deserted desert-ed a ship at Virginia and entering the 1'nlted States without a passport. Inspector Plumlev stated this morning morn-ing that Katayama's cash bond, amounting to $1000 would be substituted substi-tuted by a paper bond.
