In nearly every case the burden of looking look-ing after the child of unfortunate birth falls upon the community. With a view to bringing about legislation legis-lation which will Improve the chances of those children for life and happiness happi-ness the children's bureau is calling regional conferences at which leading ioclal workers, Judges and others from a number of states will discuss the problem from legal, Judicial and social so-cial points of approach.
