Show NOVEL PLAY IN ELEVENTH WARD. On Friday evening of this week tne Eleventh ward Mutuals opened 'he season's work by a social and entertainment, enter-tainment, followed by several hours of dancing lo ihe music of an excellent excel-lent orchestra. The affair was planned and supervised by Mrs. Henry Mack and Mr. Robert Hunter, presiding officers of-ficers of the Mutuals. An extremely noval and Interesting number of ihe program was the Morality play, ' The Street of Disillusion. " presented by ! t h o Ward Players under the direction of Miss Minnie Mcore Brown The play was introduced by a brief taik on medieval morality plays by Miss Brown, and was presented witlio it scenery, the actors comincr from and returninc to thir seats in the audi ence, after the fashion of a thousand years ago. Tho entire program was very excellent ex-cellent Miss Frances 0"N. ;, Mr Axel Nylander and Mrs. Bernlce Erickson furnishing the musical numbers, i nd Miss Bessie Teterson. Mi.s Porotlr McBratney and Mrs. Alfred Glalwell each giving reading".
