Alack ( iarr and lit tic ;on, .'.lack Jr.. left Ogdcn last Thursday for New York City from where they will sail next Wednesday for France to meet Lieutenant Colonel Mack Garr. who is stationed in France as chief of embarkation embar-kation on General Pershing's rtaff. Colonel Garr's duties will require his services at Paris and Amiens dunnq the next four or six montns and the time will afford Mrs. Garr a ver delightful de-lightful sight-seeing trip. Colonel and Mrs. Garr expect to visit throughout France. Belgium and Italy before returning re-turning home. Colonel ;arr has hern overseas a year and seven months and has considerable con-siderable experience as a member of General Pershing's staff. Before sailing sail-ing he was in charge of the 6lh cavalry cav-alry at Fort Sam Houston. Texas, and he took these nien overseas. Shortly Short-ly aftr arriving in France he was promoted tq lieutenant colonel and placed on the staff of General Peraflj inc. , Mrs. Garr has been residing in g-dn g-dn with her mother.
