Show MR. Ml) MRS. CLYDEf THTJIIMS. N. On Tuesday, the twenty-second of; September, Clyde F. Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Thomas, of SIS Twenty-seventh street. returned to, this city from the Pacific coast where I he has been residing for the past twol years. Mr. Thomas did not return as he left, however, for he brought with him a bride of a few months and the couple are row at the home at 518! Twenty-seventh s'.reet. Clyde Thomas left Ogden in 1917 f and enlisted December 12, the same year. He entered the aerial service' and was given his early training atj the Berkeley field, later being sent to Rockwell Field San Diego, and still i later to Ream Field. He was consid-I consid-I ered one of the most efficient of the i flyers at the San Diego field and on !the immense parade last Thanksgiv-I j ing day in the coast city he was chos-! ten as one of five other expert rlyers to perform the aerial stunts. While in San Diego he was a mechanic un-. der Lieutenant Bass He was muster-' ed out in April of this year at the Presidio, Pre-sidio, San Francisco, and on May 3 was married to Miss Noreen Mabe! Kurvinen, daughter of Mr and Mrs. John Kurvinen of Ely, Minnesota. Mr. Thomas met his bride in San Diego while he was in service. Mrs Thomas is an attractive young lady and nicely accomplished. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Min-nesota and for some time was on instructor in-structor in the public schools of the state |
