Naval Reserve Men. All men in the naval reserve will likewise be rejuired to register. The following statement from the navy department de-partment bears on this subject: "All men in the naval reserve not on active duty, will be required to register reg-ister in the selective service draft but will be placed to class five as heretofore. hereto-fore. This Is in accordance with orders or-ders received from the bureau of navigation navi-gation " Regarding Immediate enlistments, a message said: "Applicants due to register reg-ister June 5, arriving in Salt Lake the morning of the 5th, need not register, but those arriving after that time must register and obtain a release from their board before enlistment " |
