Show SERVICE BADGE FOR RED CROSS FARIS, April 3 Major James ElJ Perkins, commissioner for Europe of the American Red Cross, has approved a service badge to be worn by ihe Red Cross workers after six months or more foreign servh e. The badge is a bow of dark blue ribbon one inch long by three-eighths of an inch wide, drawn together in the center by a white band on which there is a small red cross One star is used to indicate six months' service; two stars for a year. The badge was authorized to identify iden-tify those who had been engaged in Red Cross work, particularly after the expiration of their term of enlistment when they had assumed civilian clothes. |
